A working horse ranch on the Pacific bluff
Ocean View Stables sits on the coastal bluffs of Daly City, on the coast just south of San Francisco. Everything for the day is on one property: the ceremony site over the water, the reception lawn and the hay barn, parking, restrooms and eight pods on the bluff.
Fifteen minutes from downtown San Francisco, with the ranch's own parking.
Tours take about an hour. Bring your guest count and your questions, and we will walk the ceremony site, the barn and the pods with you.

The ceremony site
The ceremony site is on the bluff and looks straight out over the ocean, so your guests face the water.
The Bluff Ceremony seats up to 20 guests; with the Coastal Ranch Package or the Coastal Weekend you can host up to 150, and a full-day booking gives you the ranch to yourselves.
Where the day happens
The reception lawn and the hay barn
Dinner and dancing move from the bluff to the reception lawn and the hay barn. There are restrooms on site, and a setup and breakdown window either side of your event time.
Getting ready
A bridal suite and a groom's lounge can be added for the day, so you can both get ready on site.
Tables, chairs and food
Tables, farm tables, folding chairs and Chiavari chairs can be added to your quote. Bring your own licensed, insured caterer, or ask about our in-house catering and the Cowboy Cookout.
The pods on the bluff
Four Large Pods and four Tiny Houses sit on the bluff above the ocean. The Coastal Weekend includes all eight for Friday and Saturday nights. With the other packages, pods can be added to your quote.
The pods, their rates and the stay rules
For your wedding party, The Painted Trail hosts private, artist-led sip and paint sessions in the barn aisle, booked directly with them.
The horses
The horses live here, so they are part of the view whether or not you book them. If you want them in the day, one of you can make a horseback entrance with a handler, the kids can have pony rides, and your photographer can take portraits with one of our horses.
Every horse that comes out stays with a trained handler the whole time.
Coastal weather
The coast has its own weather. Summer mornings can come in gray and usually burn off by early afternoon, and afternoons can carry a breeze. September and October are typically the clearest, warmest months.
Covered spaces and the wet-weather layout are part of every tour.
