Our Roots
OVS Weddings is the wedding side of Ocean View Stables, a family-owned ranch on the coast in Daly City, twenty minutes from downtown San Francisco. This is a working horse ranch first. The horses live here, the barn crew is here every morning at feed, and the bluff above the Pacific is the same one our riders take to the beach.
That is the whole point. You are not renting a room styled to look rustic. You are getting a real place with real animals in it.
Our Story
OVS Weddings grew out of Ocean View Stables and Leyden Horsemanship, and it started with a simple idea: share this place with couples who want something other than a banquet hall. We have hosted thousands of riders, families and horse people over the years. Now we open the ranch for the day that matters most.
We publish our pricing. Most venues on this coast will not, and we think that wastes your time and ours.

Owner & Operations Manager
Kalea owns Ocean View Stables and built OVS Weddings out of it. She decides what a wedding day here looks like, from where the ceremony sits on the bluff to which horses come out for the entrance. You may not see her much on your day, but her hand is on all of it.

What Sets Us Apart
Eight tiny houses on the bluff, a hay barn, ocean-view patios, parking for over 100 vehicles, and horses that are part of the day rather than scenery. You can bring your own caterer, your own florist and your own DJ. We do not take a cut of your vendors, and we do not require you to use ours.
And we are twenty minutes from downtown San Francisco. Your guests can stay in the city and be here in half an hour. Every other ranch venue on this coast is a real drive.
