The wedding team at Ocean View Stables
Weddings at Ocean View Stables, a working horse ranch on the coastal bluffs of Daly City, are planned and booked with OVS Weddings. You have one point of contact while you plan, and the barn crew has the horses ready before your guests arrive.
A working ranch first
The horses live on the ranch and are worked in the Leyden Horsemanship program, which teaches Western horsemanship in the vaquero tradition.
When the horses join a wedding, every horse that comes out stays with a trained handler the whole time.
How we work with couples
Priced in the open
Our packages and most add-ons are published, with no mobilization fee added. Your quote itemizes every line, including applicable taxes and the 3.6% payment processing charge.
Your vendors, your call
Bring any licensed, insured caterer; planners and photographers are welcome, elopement photographers included. We take no commission and keep no required list.
Horses with handlers
One of you can make a horseback entrance, the kids can have pony rides, and each horse stays with a trained handler the whole time.
Who does what at the ranch
Ocean View Stables runs the ranch's beach and trail rides, Leyden Horsemanship teaches its lessons and camps, and OVS Weddings hosts its weddings.
Saved by the Saddle is a separate nonprofit at Ocean View Stables, with horsemanship programs for youth and veterans.
